Heavy Horse Weekend
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May, the sound of hooves will ring out on the cobbled streets of Blists Hill Victorian Town as teams of horses visit and demonstrate how they helped tradesmen and industrialists carry out their work.
Heavy horses were essential for some of the industrial activities that took place in the gorge and you can find out why at this fantastic event!
You’ll be able to enjoy all that Blists Hill Victorian Town has to offer, from the historic town to our fantastic fairground and the Madeley Wood Co. Outdoor Adventure.
Please note, dogs are not allowed at this event.
No pre-booking necessary. Standard entry to Blists Hill Victorian Town required. Admission is free for PASS and PASS PLUS holders, and Friends.
