We’re independent and proud of it!

A major part of Shrewsbury’s charm is it’s wealth of small, quirky shops and eating places, and we have a great tradition of producing excellent local produce.

We source all our ingredients as locally as we can, including our free range eggs, and chicken from Corbett’s, butchers in the Market Hall opposite, our milk from Wells Dairy, and our great coffee is a blend exclusive to us, from Cherry Red of Whitchurch, Shropshire.
We make our cakes, and soup, and all food is freshly prepared to your order. You can eat in, or take–out.

We’re licensed too, so if you’re old enough you can enjoy a glass of wine or local beer, or even one of our wickedly naughty grown-up milkshakes!

There’s more seating upstairs, and we have a high chair for our younger guests. Our very tasty homemade soup is available from October to Easter, and the daily choice is displayed inside.
