The Pentre
The Pentre
Rural bliss, breath-taking views and wonderful home-cooked meals are what guests can enjoy when they stay at The Pentre, a 16th century farmhouse which has been sympathetically restored over recent years. We offer bed and breakfast in our spacious en-suite rooms complete with wonderful Aga cooked breakfasts. Guests can relax in the warmth and luxury of our oak-beamed lounge, complete with Inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove. We have three large en-suite bedrooms with bath or shower which can accommodate a family if required.
If you would prefer self catering we can offer this to guests in Oak our 18th-century, stone-built, mid-terrace barn conversion which is set within a courtyard sleeping four guests (one double, one twin). The shared garden and 20 acres are perfect for relaxing or dining alfresco.
We are situated in a tranquil environment nestling among unspoilt countryside with outstanding views of the border with Wales, just a short distance from the Offa’s Dyke long distance footpath.
There is peace, beautiful scenery and miles of paths & bridleways to explore. There are a series of detailed walks that start right from our doorstep and are freely available for guests to use.
