CrossCountry HST Visit!

The SVR’s vehicular spectacular bursts into life across a whole weekend, as the Vintage Transport Extravaganza welcomes vehicles from all eras to each station on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August.

Across all six stations, you’ll see steam-powered traction engines, buses, motorbikes, cars, tractors, and other rarities and oddities as you travel along the 16-mile line, hauled by steam engine or heritage diesel locomotive.

Look to the skies to see a Spitfire flypast on each day of the event too (subject to availability)!

On the rails, we’ll have two steam locomotives in service, alongside the mighty Class 37 No. 37263.

If you like vintage vehicles, own a classic car or have always dreamed of owning a traction engine, then the Severn Valley Railway is the only place to visit at the beginning of August.
