The Hostelrie
The Hostelrie
The Hostelrie is an 18th Century pub with rooms located in the tranquil village of Goodrich in the beautiful wye valley, close to Symonds Yat, the Forest of Dean & the charming market town of Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. This unique turreted building is packed with character, it has been recently refurbished by Daniel & Katherine Balanovsky, who purchased the Hostelrie in early 2021.
The Hostelrie has 8 bedrooms, a traditional pub, a restaurant & a large beer garden perfectly located to explore the fantastic local area & all it has to offer.
The kitchen at Hostelrie offers several menus, all of which are planned & executed by chef patron Daniel Balanovsky. From breakfast through to the last dessert at dinner the food is made in house, from fresh, to order & represents Daniel’s philosophy of using ingredients as local as possible & to showcase simple dishes packed with loads of flavour. The menus change on a frequent basis according to the availability & seasonality of produce.
