The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed has become a well-loved place for many people. Since 2014 we have seen our secret little garden café become ever more popular, prompting our move to this fabulous new location.

We have kept that relaxed laid-back feel, and we still serve the same good honest food.

Paul cooks all of the meals fresh each day, and we cater for special diets, Coeliac and gluten-intolerant, dairy-free & vegetarian – where possible, anything on the menu can be adapted to suit your dietary requirements, so please feel free to chat to us about it. We’re here to help.

We source the best quality ingredients from our local suppliers, and everything is from within a 30 mile radius. Where possible, we also grow some of our own salad, veg and herbs.

Dogs welcomed with well-behaved owners…! It’s a great place to stop off for refreshments, with or without the dog, whether you’ve been walking, or out cycling.

And don’t worry about muddy paws, boots or spokes too much, all welcomed in the right place, although we do ask that dogs and their owners remain in the bar area, and not in the restaurant!
