The Wye Valley Walk
The Wye Valley Walk is a 136-mile (219 km) long-distance footpath that follows the River Wye through the Wye Valley in Wales and England. The walk starts (or ends) at the remote location of Rhyd-y-benwch.
The walk passes through picturesque towns and villages, as well as beautiful countryside and offers a variety of landscapes including woodlands, hills and meadows. It also passes several historic sites, including Tintern Abbey, Goodrich Castle and the Symonds Yat viewpoint. The walk is well-signposted and can be completed in sections or as a whole.
