Appalling
As a party if 10 we attended in the evening of Friday 22 Sept. The pub wasn’t busy and staff friendly and welcoming. We booked the table in advance. The meals we
received were substandard and tasteless. The fishcakes I ordered were burnt on the outside and slushy on the inside running with liquid and I don’t think they were cooked properly as they were soggy, they were supposed to be accompanied with a poached egg…..the kitchen staff made 6
attempts before they delivered a passable poached egg, the baked potato tasted stale and unappetising….I went home to a sandwich 😔
The only saving grace of the evening was the service ….thank you Jess you did an amazing job of waiting on us ☺️
The other meals were just as poor and one member of the party had an upset stomach the next day.
I don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon.
