Hereford Halloween Spooktacular

From a freaky scarecrow trail to a wicked Zombie Trail parade, there’s lots of spooky fun to be had in Hereford this Halloween.

On 29th October, immerse yourself in a Halloween event like no other! Celebrate the spooky season in style at this fun, family event in the city centre.

Herefordshire Carved Pumpkin Competition

Show off your creative skills by entering a carved pumpkin into the Carved Pumpkin Competition! Prizes are given to the pumpkins judged to be Most Spook-tastic and Best in Show, simply bring your carved pumpkin to the Hereford City Life stand in High Town between 10am and 2pm to enter. The winners will be announced at 2:30pm, after the judges have made cast their votes.

Fantastic Performances & Activities

From live music to face painting, there will be tons to see and do across High Town, the Old Market and Maylord Orchards. Discover great photo opportunities at the Halloween Garden, get your face painted, and be amazed by jugglers, fire eaters and acrobatic performers.

Zombie Crawl Parade

The day’s performances will culminate in a wicked Zombie Crawl! Get dressed up and join this mesmerising parade through the city, with spooky walkabout performers, fire eaters, zombies and much more.

Make sure you dress up in your spookiest outfit – there will be prizes will be given for the Ultimate Showstopper and Best Dressed costumes in the parade!

10:00 – Best Carved Pumpkin Competition opens to receive entries
11:00 – Street Performances begin at Old Market, Maylord Orchards & High Town
– Live Halloween Band begin in High Town
13:00 – Zombie Crawl begins, meet outside City Life tent in High Town
14:30 – Judging begins for the Best Carved Pumpkin Competition
